1、 Basic concepts

  • Decentralized identity (did): a new type of identifier, which can realize verifiable and decentralized digital identity.

Verifiable credential (VC): a digital credential that can be verified to have tamper proof capability. It contains all the information that the physical voucher can represent, including the relevant information of the issuing authority (person), the voucher type information (driver's license, insurance card), the attribute information of the voucher declaration (date of birth, nationality), the relevant information of the voucher restriction (expiration time, terms of use), the information of the voucher owner (ID number, did ID, name), etc.

Issuer: one of the roles in the distributed identity system, which is responsible for issuing verifiable vouchers after verification according to business logic.

Holder: one of the roles in the distributed identity system. According to business needs, it can apply for verifiable vouchers from the issuer and show the verifiable vouchers it has held to the verifier.

Verifier: one of the roles of the distributed identity system, which can verify the verifiable credentials presented by the holder to support subsequent business decisions.

2、 Product functions

1) Package management

Support to apply for package, check package status, remaining quantity, purchase time, etc.

2) Service monitoring

It supports viewing interface calls, such as total call volume, call success volume, call failure volume, etc.

3) Identity management interface

Support to call the management function of distributed identity and verifiable credentials in the way of restful API. For example, identity creation and update can verify the functions of voucher application, issuance and verification.

3、 Product advantages

1)Distributed identity system

It is implemented according to the W3C's decentralized identifiers (DIDS) v1.0 and verifiable credentials (VC) v1.0 standards. The system has strong scalability and supports the whole process chain management ability of identity and verifiable credentials.

2) Strong data privacy protection

Verifiable vouchers support fine-grained presentation based on attribute level. The voucher user can present the attributes in the voucher to the verifier in any combination according to the needs of privacy protection, so as to protect the privacy of users to the greatest extent, and remove the restrictions of issued vouchers on application business scenarios. The relevant materials of voucher application and issuance are encrypted and stored in the whole link, making the data available and invisible.

3)Rich extension components

Provide extended functional components such as certificate template management, offline certificate issuance, secret key escrow, etc., to help users quickly build applications based on distributed identities without purchasing and managing blockchain resources.
